Local Allies & Resources

Anarres Press - Printing Collective based out of Black Coffee Co-op

Anarres Press is a collective of bibliophiles who print out seditious literature primarily out of a small corner in Black Coffee Coop. A variety of local writers’ work, pirated sections / entireties of books, and other circulated radical zines come in and out of our hands. Entirely donation based, Anarres works off of the goal to distribute as much free and inflammatory information as possible. Those interested can find zines on shelves at Black Coffee, Peace on the Streets by Kids on the Streets, Left Bank Books, or on our website and various community centers or coffee shops around Seattle. One may happen upon us tabling at book fairs in other areas as well.

We are currently looking for writers who are interested in publishing their own work. We are always accepting new bibliophilic-blood to help with production, and we are always accepting blood-money donations in order to buy more paper or toner.
